Privacy notice
Last updated: 1 November 2026 · This notice is given under section 11 of the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, as amended (Amendment 13).
Who we are
FinRiskLens ("FinRiskLens", "we"). We decide how the personal information described here is used. Privacy questions and requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- Signup and contact details: name, email, company, role, country (and US state), client type, the approximate size of your exposure, the services and modules you choose, and your answers and consents (including the time, version and fingerprint of what you accepted and signed).
- Qualified-client declaration: if you choose to make one, the statements you ticked, your written consent, and what we checked to verify it.
- Files you upload: for example invoices, receivables, payment history, loan lists, cash-flow forecasts, financial statements, portfolio exports or, for private clients, a list of your assets. Files about your business may contain information about your customers, suppliers or lenders (see "Information about other people" below).
- Financial information about private clients (assets, debts, income, spending) is "information of special sensitivity" under the law. We collect it only from private clients who give it to us for the wealth-risk service, and protect it accordingly.
- Calculator: the calculator works without your details. If you ask for the report, we keep your email, the details you enter and the calculator result. We also count page views, results and shares without identifying you.
- Technical and security information: IP address (for security and to limit abuse) and records of access to client data by our staff.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on our site.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for: analysing your files, preparing your report, the walkthrough call, and the client page.
- To send the calculator report you asked for.
- To keep the records the law and our professional duties require, including the signed engagement letter and what you were told before signing.
- To protect our systems and your information.
- Only if you ticked the separate box: to send you occasional market notes. You can stop them at any time.
Do you have to give us this information?
No law obliges you to give us this information. It is your choice, but without it we cannot provide the service or the report you ask for.
Who receives it
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who work for us under contract: cloud hosting (Hetzner Online, servers in Germany), network security and email forwarding (Cloudflare), payment processing (named here once payments start), and Anthropic, whose AI model (Claude) helps us sort invoice lines, draft summaries and check wording. A person at FinRiskLens reviews every report before you see it.
- Our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers), under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Transfers outside Israel
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Israel, for example in the European Union or the United States. We transfer information abroad only as permitted by the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 2001, with written undertakings from the recipient to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Engagement records (signup answers, consents, key facts, the signed letter, reports and the files they rely on): 7 years from the end of the engagement.
- Calculator reports and leads who did not become clients: 24 months from our last contact, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Security and access records: 24 months.
How we protect it
We apply the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017. Our staff hub sits behind a login with two-step verification; each access to client data is recorded; client-page links expire after 7 days and are stored only as fingerprints; files are kept in access-controlled storage. If a serious security incident affects your information, we will notify you and the Privacy Protection Authority as the law requires.
Your rights
- To see the information we hold about you (section 13 of the law).
- To ask us to correct or delete information that is wrong, incomplete, unclear or out of date (section 14).
- To stop market notes and be removed from any mailing list at any time (section 17F), using the link in each email or by writing to us.
Write to [email protected]. We will reply within the time the law allows. Some records we must keep by law even if you ask us to delete them; we will tell you which. You may also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority.
Information about other people
When a business client uploads files that name its customers, suppliers or lenders, the client is responsible for that information and for being allowed to share it with us. We use it only to prepare that client's report, under a data processing agreement with the client, and do not use it for any other purpose.
If you are in the United States
We serve US businesses, not private individuals. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. Market notes go only to people who asked for them, and every one includes our postal address and a way to stop them. If a state privacy law gives you further rights, write to us and we will honour them.
Changes
We will post any change to this notice here with a new date, and tell clients about important changes by email.
