Terms of use

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms apply to the FinRiskLens website, the calculator and the client page. A paid Risk Assessment is also governed by the engagement letter you sign; if the two differ, the engagement letter applies.

1. What FinRiskLens is

FinRiskLens provides risk measurement, analytics and education. We do not give investment advice or investment marketing, we do not manage portfolios, hold client money or assets, or place or arrange transactions. FinRiskLens is not licensed under the Regulation of Investment Advice, Investment Marketing and Portfolio Management Law, 1995, and is not registered as an investment adviser or commodity trading advisor in the United States.

2. Two levels of service

For every client, the report measures exposure and what market moves could cost, and explains hedging tools in general terms. Illustrations of specific hedging tools on a client's own figures, the Hedge Explorer and the wealth-risk review are provided only to clients we have verified as qualified clients under the First Schedule to that law (section 3(a)(11)). If you declare that you are a qualified client, you confirm that your statements are true, you agree in writing to be treated as one, and you will tell us if your status changes. We may refuse or stop level-two services if we cannot verify your status.

Clients in the United States receive level one only, and we serve US businesses, not private individuals. We do not advise on securities, and we do not illustrate futures, options or swaps on a client's own figures. The customer scorecard in the credit module is for business-to-business trade credit and must not be used in decisions about an individual's personal, family or household credit; FinRiskLens is not a consumer reporting agency.

3. Your decisions

Everything we provide (reports, calculators, the Hedge Explorer, alerts, calls and messages) is information, not a recommendation. Any decision to hedge, borrow, lend, invest or change credit terms is yours alone, and any transaction is made by you with your own bank or broker. Figures are estimates based on the information you give us and on market data as of the dates shown; real prices and outcomes differ and can be worse than any scenario shown.

4. Your information

You confirm that the information and files you give us are accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, and that you are entitled to share them, including any information about other people in them. Our privacy notice explains how we use personal information.

5. Using the site

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to access other clients' pages or our systems, no automated scraping, no uploading of malicious files, and no unlawful use. Client-page links are personal; do not share them.

6. Intellectual property

The site, the software and our methods belong to FinRiskLens. Your files and the report prepared for you are for your own use; you may share your report with your advisers, bank or auditors, provided you share it in full, including the "Important information" section.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site available and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted service. Market data comes from third parties (such as the Bank of Israel and the US Federal Reserve) and may be delayed or corrected. We may change these terms by posting a new version here.

8. Cancelling a paid service

Business clients: full refund if you cancel before we start the analysis; no refund after the report is delivered. Private individuals buying for personal use may also cancel a distance transaction under the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (section 14C), within 14 days, subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or NIS 100, whichever is lower.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, FinRiskLens is not liable for decisions you make or transactions you enter into, and our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited by agreement.

10. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
